My perfect vacation is playing computer games and reading fantasy novels all day long. First, I can interact with many people on online games. I can have various relationships with different people. Second, I like to read fantasy novels very much. So, I will be able to read my favorite novels at vacation if I read fantasy novels without rest. Third, I do not get any stress. I usually get stress from schoolwork and academy works. So, without these factors, I will not gain any stress.

Some students attend lecture classes in which only the teacher speaks, while other students have discussion classes in which everyone speaks. However, I’d prefer discussion classes which everyone speaks than lecture classes. First, I can hear and understand many people’s opinion. So, I can have open mind, various notions and better interactions with students and teachers. Second, I can develop my speaking skills. The best way to develop speaking skills is speaking much. In discussion class, I will have more opportunity to speak in front of many people. This will led my speaking skill much better.

The reading passage is about increasing of college fees to build a new gymnasium. The woman agrees with the increase of fee. First, she is a student and 10 percents of increase is not too bad and it is the first increase. Second, every student will have benefits from new gymnasium. The old gymnasium is old, small and crowded but the new one will not be that. Third, fee increase will cost less money that she would have think. She have thought to join a health club but it is expensive than paying more fee.

The passage says that the uniformity of goods was achieved through machine-based production, the identification of product’s type, the creation of brand names, and the establishment of standardized sizes. The man’s clothing industry contributed to the establishment of standardized sizes. This began during a war, when the army needed large numbers of uniforms. After the war, there were a lot of demands for clothing for soldiers and manufacturers increased production in standardized sizes. American men could buy mass-produced and ready-to-wear suits, shirts, hats and shoes with well-known brand names. Also, women could buy ready-made clothing from mail order catalogs and department stores. The shirtwaist was one of the earliest mass-produces garments for women. The shirtwaist was produced in standardized sizes and be popular with women.

The woman’s problem is that she has not yet decided whether to look for a job or go to graduate school after her graduation. The professor gives the woman 2 solutions. The first solution going to graduate school and the second solution is getting a job. I think getting a job is a better solution for the woman. First, she should write a resume of her qualification and job experience. This will be easier than researching for graduate programs. Second, she can earn money earlier, so she can do the thing that she wants to do earlier. Third, she can gain experience in work. Actual experience is the most important thing to do work well, so she can do work well as she get a job earlier.

Studies on sleep show that our brains continue to work on problems while we are sleeping. The problem solving ability will might increase after 8 hours of sleep. Creativity and problem solving seem to be directly linked to getting enough sleep. One study showed that students who had 8 hours of sleep were 3 times more likely to solve a mathematical problem than students who had less sleep. Research indicates that the brain reorganizes and restructures our memories during deep sleep. This restructuring of memories seems to help our creativity and problem solving ability to increase.
